Artistic sensibilities, strong storytelling ability (visual storytelling/documentary storytelling), technical expertise in all aspects of post production, experience editing short and long format work, and experience in versioning. Oh, color grading skills as well!

A Day In The Life Of A Video Editor
- Managing moving video and social projects from initial brief through to final delivery.
- The ability to work under tight timelines and adapt all kinds of moving video content based on the supplied media plans.
- You’ll can masters to all kinds of platforms, lengths and languages, ensuring each and every ad is fit-for-format and looks pixel perfect.
- Possessing a strong knowledge of all delivery formats, ensuring all outputs are technically to spec and the responsibility of all content is QC'd prior to delivery.
- Propose creative solutions and have a proven track record in editing and the ability for storytelling that are relevant to the clients brief and within brand guidelines.
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst also flagging the ones that aren’t feasible upfront.
- You can clearly express yourself in English, in writing and orally.
Who Are You?
- You have experience at an offline editorial house, in-house advertising agency, or in-house commercial production company
- You have strong music sensibilities and background
- You have a proven understanding of devices, frame rates, codecs, file formats and cameras
- You have an extraordinary sense of taste and an ability to adapt to a variety of visual styles
- You have the energy, drive, passion and enthusiasm to do and be the very best and are a driven leader who approaches things with a sense of urgency
- You are able to work unpredictable hours in order to achieve creative success
